Collision
I love the feeling of grass between my toes. I look down at the shapes of my feet, squishing them deep into the soil. I know the feeling of strong winds tangling my hair while I drive with the windows down- I know I'll brush them out later.
I know the quiet emptiness in a field when it’s cleared for construction- an unavoidable silencing of nature. I can feel my body existing in this world- flesh, blood, tears, my dry and cracked hands. My soul lives here, whispering in my ear as I walk through the days, weeks, and years.
I live in my world, creating experiences, morals, and mistakes. I hug my family, and they hug me back. An entanglement of flesh and science, I walk this Earth. Who are you, Earthling?
